Kyanna Rudolph – Suzuki Violin

Kyanna Rudolph is a passionate Bay Area–based violinist and dedicated music educator from San Jose, California. She began playing violin at age nine through her elementary school’s youth program and developed a strong foundation in the Suzuki Method before advancing to traditional classical studies with educators Hannah Robbins and Randy Cono. Over the years, she has cultivated expertise in both orchestral and modern classical performance, bringing more than a decade of ensemble experience and a deep love for teaching to her students.

Kyanna’s musical growth has been enriched by her participation in prestigious programs such as the Interlochen Arts Camp and the Brevard Summer Institute. She studied Violin Performance at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee from 2018 to 2020, where she trained under Italian concert violinist Marcus Placci. These experiences broadened her artistic perspective and refined her skills in both classical and contemporary repertoire.

As an educator, Kyanna has taught violin to students of all ages—ranging from young beginners in community outreach programs at Grace Lutheran Church to private middle-school learners developing advanced technique. Her lessons emphasize relaxation, posture, and ease of playing, drawing from her knowledge of the Alexander Technique. Kyanna focuses on building confident and expressive musicians by teaching technical mastery, stage presence, orchestral etiquette, and a well-rounded understanding of music theory and history. She believes every student can find joy and self-expression through music and strives to inspire lifelong appreciation for the violin.
