Anastasia Goldin is an educator and performing artist in the Bay Area. She started playing piano at the age of 4 and completed the advanced level of the Certificate of Merit test in her freshman year of high school. In addition to piano, Anastasia is very passionate about the flute. She was an active member of the San Francisco Youth Symphony for two years and performed as the principal flutist in their recent performance of the New World Symphony. In addition, she was recently hired as the principal flutist on a tour to Europe with the San Jose Youth Symphony. She is also a two time winner of San Jose Youth Symphony’s Concerto Competition and performed solo with two of their orchestras. Anastasia has a degree in Music Education from San Jose State University, where she studied with Dr. Ray Furuta and Catherine Payne. She has been teaching for many years and has a wide range of students ranging from ages 5-17. Her biggest passion is helping students fall in love with music and she looks forward to working with you.
